View source for Werewolves of Shethkor

This adventure took place in the early days of the Wars of Arin. Morjec, minion of the great wizard Keraptis, had devised a magical field that would entirely encompass the Filitir Forest, cutting the Elves off from their allies in the White Alliance. This field was held in place by four magical anchors.

One of these anchors was located beneath the city of Shethkor, at the southern edge of the wood. The Alliance was alerted to this by Velder, the city's ruler, and an intrepid band of adventurers arrived to destroy the anchor. When they arrived, however, they discovered that the city had been overrun by werewolves, and that even Velder had been infected.

The party fled the city to regroup, and encountered Keln, a local ranger who had escaped infection. He told them of a secret passage into the area beneath the city, and they made their way toward the location of the anchor. In the end, they fought a climactic battle against the lead werewolf and killed him, allowing the anchor to be destroyed and Velder to be cured.
