The '''turtle soup''' spell calls into being a bowl of thick, green, peppery turtle soup, as large in volume as the caster’s head. Just the soup is summoned, which is held in a bowl shape, which appears in the caster's hand, by the spell dweomer. Soup can be sipped, drunk, or ladled out of its flat top, which is the only face soup from which can spill. The soup remains in existence after the spell duration is over; however, it no longer holds its “bowl” shape. The soup is nourishing, and it arrives at the temperature the caster desires, from frozen hard to boiling. The “bowl” does not transmit the temperature of the soup to the caster’s hand.

If hurled at a creature, the soup leaves its “bowl” shape in midair, and can cause damage to such creatures depending on temperature. Turtles, tortoises, and related beings cannot be harmed by any contact with this spell.

''Note: Turtle soup originally appeared in this form in [http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0786901187/johnshelprous-20 The Seven Sisters] for the AD&D game from TSR. His use here is for the purposes of providing context for the campaign only.''
