Homer Zuckerman is a Human farmer and the owner of the largest farmstead in the community of Opaik in east-central Arin. He and his wife Edith are well regarded by the other farmers in the area and thus it was decided that he would assume a leadership role in the community.
When he received word that land was for sale on the cheap to the west, he aided his neighbor, John Arable, so he could afford to set up a larger farm in Promise Junction.
