'''Kalenth Whisperwind''' is the current patriarch of [[The Whisperwind]], one of the [[Nine Families]] of [[Transha]]. His family is descended from the famed explorer [[Karlspeth Whisperwind]], after whom the island's central [[Mt. Whisperwind|mountain]] is named. The Whisperwind controls the central portion of the island around the mountain.

Kalenth is also the nephew of the sage [[Krynolith Whisperwind]], who is the younger brother of Kalenth's late father [[Kithilden Whisperwind|Kithilden]]. The two have not spoken in over twenty years, since Kithilden's death.
