Kardano Quint is a Human shipwright from Rogariel responsible for the building of the Mutaradat al'Barq at the command of Sheik Nata'Zu of Zunimal. He had been working in the city's shipyard for many years and had a good reputation as a competent tradesman, but when he was offered the opportunity to build the Sheik's ship, he wanted to take things outside of his wheelhouse and is proud of his accomplishment. He only hopes that its captain, Mirk, doesn't destroy her on one of his daring adventures.
