Land of the Black Sand

The Land of the Black Sand is located in the central part of the Varrag Peninsula, in the heart of the Cardillic Desert. It is a mysterious place, filled with magic and patrolled by undead mamluks. Few among the living would dare venture there.

For the past several years, it has been ruled by the wizard Mozenrath, who overthrew the sorcerer Destain to gain control over the land and its secrets. Mozenrath has made no secret of his ambition to someday rule all of the Seven Deserts, with this land being only the beginning.
