Ral Brahalst

Ral Brahalst is a Dwarven warrior and the current mayor of the city of Gascar. He is originally from the Jhakad Mountains. A dozen years ago, he and a band of fellow adventurers saved the life of the man who was then the Duke of Gascar, Jayar Telva, from a band of pirates who had kidnapped him and brought him to the Stran Islands. In return, Telva gave each of the adventurers a plot of land and a title within the duchy. Telva died about two years ago with no heir, and the duchy was left to Brahalst.

Ral Brahalst was originally designed as a PC to be played by Eric Fleishman, but never appeared in a game as such. He was converted into an NPC shortly thereafter.
