'''Saraton Hanaestor''' is the younger of the two sons of [[Mirdael Hanaestor]], self-styled Duke of [[Hanaellan]], and his wife [[Cliana Hanaestor|Cliana]]. He is an advisor on his father's court in [[Byngh]], where statues were erected in the honor of himself and his brother, [[Ballion Hanaestor|Ballion]], some years ago.

Saraton is quite the opposite to his brother, preferring the lifestyle of a courtier. His skill in diplomacy, or rather talking his way out of sticky situations, is well-known. He is also considered something of a ladies' man, and always keeps up with the trends among [[The SouthLands|SouthLands]] aristocrats.
