The Wilshere Arms is a small boarding house set at the corner of King's Road and The Traveler's Path in the Marketplace at Hanmer. Run by the Wilshere family, this establishment caters to carters and drivers who make the run between Hanmer and The Crossroads. Many of the rooms are rented on a time-sharing arrangement among those worthies, depending on who might be in town at any particular time.
