Fred is a citizen of Imor who joined Spike and his crew living as vagrants in the Imor-Drev Tunnel. He was encountered by a group of adventurers who were exploring the tunnel and killed his pet giant spider, Bucky. Fred became very upset, and when SniffWind and his comrades harrassed him about showing them where his cohorts went, he broke down into hysterics from the stress. He had to be knocked out and taken back to Imor for questioning, which essentially ended the mission.
