In response to the recovery efforts resulting from The Great Magic War, Imor’s inhabitants selected the most knowledgeable individuals to lead the way in re-building the city. Each of these specialized in a particular area – commerce, agriculture, healing, record-keeping, and most importantly, magic. Each, in turn, chose whom they thought would best aid them in bringing peace and order to the area and Imor grew and prospered.

As time passed and lives became less chaotic, these leaders decided that there needed to be a more formalized collaboration of knowledge and Imor University was born.

Today, the school is a tthriving entity and its dedication to all areas of education is quickly spreading throughout The Ardann. At its highest level, the school is managed by a Cornerstone Council consisting of the dean from each area of study – The Arts, Sciences, Local History, World History, Philosophy, and Magical Studies.

The campus of Imor University is divided into three areas – a well-guarded magical studies area, an area dedicated to the other studies offered at I. U., and an area for daily life including dorms and dining facilities, a library and study center and a sports stadium for everyone to let off some steam.
