Cure light wounds
From Ardrana
When casting the cure light wounds spell and laying his hand upon a creature, the priest causes some small wound or other injury damage to the creature's body to be healed. This healing cannot affect creatures without corporeal bodies, nor can it cure wounds of creatures not living or of extraplanar origin.
Curing is permanent only insofar as the creature does not sustain further damage; caused wounds will heal--or can be cured--just as any normal injury.
There is a reversed form of this spell, cause light wounds, which inflicts injury in the same manner this spell heals it.
Note: This spell originally appeared in this form in the 2nd Edition Player's Handbook for Advanced Dungeons & Dragons from TSR. Its use here is for the purposes of providing context for the campaign only.
