Inn of the Shifting Sands

The Inn of the Shifting Sands is a moderately-priced inn and tavern in the city of Agropthos. It serves as a second home to many of the caravan drivers and workers on the various merchant ships, and is thus located close to Shark's Fin Bay. It is also the only full-service inn open after the city's sunset curfew. Its proprietor is Rashid.

The interior of the inn is simple, with only a gauze curtain hanging in the entry to serve as a door when the place is open for business. There are a number of desert plants spread about the large common room, and an archway in the left-hand wall opens onto the wide hallway leading to the guest chambers. Another archway in the back right-hand corner leads to a room where hookah pipes can be enjoyed. Soft music can often be heard in all the common areas, provided by a group of musicians employed by the inn.
