Jakobias Lanthoric -- or "Jake" to his friends and customers -- is the owner and proprietor of The West Bank, a fairly well-to-do inn located on the western bank of the Lessic River in the city of Semmarch. Jake is a gregarious sort, but one who wants at all costs to avoid trouble.
