Masato

Masato is a Human warrior, the first mate aboard the Daikigyou. He is also in charge of the ship's defenses. He has a reputation among the crew for being very demanding, as he requires the crew to work efficiently, and mistakes are unacceptable. This stands in stark contrast to his more easygoing captain, Saichi, who often takes it upon himself to soothe the psyche of the targets of Masato's wrath. Some would say the captain uses this relationship to inspire the crew's loyalty to him, but certainly Masato would never admit to such a thing.
