Imorian Parliament
From Ardrana
This governing body consists of the ten noble families who formerly claimed the largest land areas of Eksaer prior to the Great Magic War. Many rumors persist about the gradual weakening of power and responsibility this group has seen since the coronation of Linden Addenberry and some sitting on the Parliament are jostling for position to put themselves in the best position should this body be dissolved.
The ten primary members whose families are represented on the Parliament are as follows:
- Stewart Scarsdale
- Trevor Middlebridge
- Randall Briaridge
- Arthur Waterhouse
- Theodore Brasselton
- Clinton Marshfield
- Dalton Grandville
- George Greenedge
- Curtis Pendelton
- Andrew Barrington
A second tier of nobles with smaller land holdings acts as liaisson between the exective level above and that of the peoples' advocates below. They take part in legistlative procedings, but do not have the authority to sign off on individual policies. These nobles are as follows:
- Damon Wells
- Leota Chilmire
- Kenneth Redford
- Carl Thistleton
- Stephen Jagwood
- Lewis Roxdale
- Terrance Hedgeboro
- Richard Norton
- Peter Agridel
- Mitchell Pitsinburg
There are also ten supportive seats within the Parliament held by local business owners, clergy and minor noble families, but they do not take part in any legistlative procedings. This branch was added at the insistance of Lord Addenberry to give the people of Imor a greater voice in governing decisions. At present, these include:
- Ebony Ravenwill, high priestess of the temple of Hecate, represents the clerical interests of the city
- Harcourt Ellison is the advocate for Imor's business community
- Clarice Silverwood, director of the Golden Geyser, represents the interests of the wealthy citizens of Imor
- Nelson Blackstone voices the needs of craftsman of the forge
- Albert Bromfield, proprietor of A&E Scribes, tends to the needs of those who ply their trade in soft crafts
- Raymond Tiller ensures that the city's agricultural area are heard
- Verna Baker is responsible for the needs of the service-related businesses throughout the city
- Bradley Foster, chairman of Imor University's Cornerstone Council, makes sure that educational issues are addressed
- Sarah Dartmouth is entrusted with furthering the goals of the Imorian City Outreach Program
