Dub was a modron -- specifically, a rogue duodrone who had landed in Sigil, where he and his subordinate, Mon, plied their trade as mercenaries. He was hired by Mace Nighthammer to aid in his siege on a Maluur stronghold, but he was slain during the opening assault.
