We Who Watch

We Who Watch is the name given by many worshippers of Mastepha to their order. The name refers to their belief that someday, Mastepha will send an avatar to Ardrana, which he has never done, and that its coming will herald the passing of the days when magic dominates the world, and science will win the day. Thus, We Who Watch are watching for Mastepha's arrival. Because Mastepha is said to live, not on the Outer Planes, but on the moon that bears his name, it is to the heavens that We Who Watch turn their eyes. Thus, their temples double as, or simply function as, observatories. The primary of these is in the city of Imor, beneath the place where Mastepha sits in the sky.
