Provided to its namesake by an avatar of Varice, Shem Al Adeen's Flaming Scimitar can be recognized by its engraving of a flame. This powerful magical weapon was used by Shem to promote the common good through the cleansing of a perfect flame. No evil has ever gone unvanquished after being touched by this purifying fire.

Unfortunately, the blade's whereabouts are no longer known. It was sold by the party of adventurers that eventually recovered the Most Sacred Crock of Cheese. It is very doubtful that the new owner knows the blade's true worth.
