Qith

Qith is a city in southern Tanilon, in the area that was once known as Garnath. It is close to the borders of both Arin and Tyllan, in the foothills of the eastern Onyl Mountains. Goods from the Dwarven settlements in those mountains flow through this city on their way to the great trade routes of the south. The city's ruler is a woman named Tewestra.

During the Wars of Arin, Qith was an important base for the Onyx Empire, ruled by the dread necromancer Lord Zathmore. In the days following his betrayal of Keraptis, the city was brought under the banner of Daelras, but was ruled with an iron fist by a mysterious figure known only as Mr. Q. However, following the wars, Mr. Q disappeared, and the city has since become independent. It is one of the states resisting the call for Tanilon's reunification.
