Thorodin
From Ardrana
Thorodin is half-Elven, son of a human woman and and elven man. His mother found herself wandering into the outskirts of Flohrilynn Forest, exhausted, hungry, scared, running from several men. His father, exploring far from his home deeper in the forest, came across her and offered his aid. The men caught up and, taking offense at his father's help, attempted to kill him and take the woman. A fight insued and his father killed the men. In short, he took her back home.
As a child, Thorodin was accepted into his father’s culture, but never quite as the other Elven children, and was a bit of a loner. He explored a lot, farther and farther afield as he got older. In his travels he met many other races of the forest -- and some outside the forest -- including centaurs, Halflings and Dwarves, whom he befriended and learned to speak some of their language. On one of his explorations, Thorodin met an old Elven sage who took a liking to him and taught him arcane spellcraft.
As it turns out, his mother was a foreigner, from far-off Lanad i'Sarois. She learned to speak Elven before Thorodin was born, and only spoke her native tongue in moments of stress. She spoke of her homeland rarely, and more of the great trading city of Drev, where she had lived for a few years.
When Thorodin grew old enough, adventure got the better of him and he undertook the long journey to Drev to see it for himself. He lived there for some time, picking up a few skills here and their to live, but mostly studying spellcraft whenever he got the chance. He continued to travel, and eventually made his way to Verenza. It was there he met a mysterious man from Imor named Trenton Marquire, who told him of the fantastic city and their need for aid in clearing out an underground passage. However, after several run-ins with Imorian authorities, Thorodin was removed from the city. His current whereabouts are unknown.
Thorodin is a PC played by Aron Jones.
