Drev

The city of Drev is located in the western part of the region of Willhiness. It lies on the southwestern shore of Yepper Lake, at the point where the Quorrel River runs out to the west.

Drev is the largest city in the northern half of Ardann i'Parastha, and is considered the greatest center of trade in all of Ardrana. This has made it the logical choice for the preeminent temple of Lathoris, patron of merchants, although the temple of Helandra is also quite important here.

Drev has been a trading capital for millenia, but legends speak of a time when its place was threatened by the encroachment of The Barrens, which lie some three hundred miles to the south. It is said that Drev's ruler commanded the merchants to pool their profits for a day, and that was enough to pay a powerful wizard to open up the depths of Yepper Lake and create the Quorrel River. It is not known whether this is a true historical event, or a story meant to highlight the city's great wealth and importance, but the unnatural nature of the Quorrel cannot be denied.
