Abis Mal

Abis Mal is a Human thief who serves as the leader of a band of outlaws who live in the desert outside the city of Agrabah. He is aided in this by his long-suffering servant, Harud Hazi Bin. Mal and his men live as bandits, often attacking travelers or even caravans that travel through the desert.

Mal's family have been outlaws since even before Agrabah's founding, when his ancestor Abnor Mal attempted to kill Agrabah's founder, Hamed. Such skullduggery seems to be an inherited trait, as Abis Mal has attempted on several occasions to seize control of Agrabah, only to be defeated by forces loyal to Sultan Bobo Al'Hamed. Still, Mal has continued to evade capture, and still lives somewhere in the caves.
