Alean is a Human merchant who runs a shop selling herbal medicines and other paraphernalia in the town of Semmarch. He was one of the leaders of those who resisted the strongarm tactics of The Organization several years ago, and was one of the biggest proponents of allowing the city to leave the White Alliance.
