Aureus Proudfoot

Aureus Proudfoot is a Halfling goldsmith from the village of Budgeford. Along with his wife, Drachria, he was ostracized following a destructive fire that started in Drachria's alchemy lab. They remained in the community, acceptance returning slowly, but their son Solidus was prompted to leave for a life of adventuring. Aureus was distraught, as he had been teaching his son the family business and hoped he would inherit it, but Solidus instead took up the priesthood of Varice, where the skills he learned would be put to different use.
