Eira Cutler, often called "Widow Cutler" since the death of her husband Cogswell, is a Human commoner from the city of Gascar. She is the owner and proprietress of The Cozy Cockerel, a small bed and breakfast a mile north of the city.
Background
Cutler's husband was a lifelong sailor. Nine years ago, her husband's ship was wrecked on the shoals off the coast. She sold the salvage rights to her husband's vessel to his first mate, Alwin Batross, and used the money to purchase the Cockerel.
Personality
Cutler is a quiet sort, but she will rebuke those who do not respect her desire for quiet surroundings. She has a cat, Ratkur, which was rescued from the wreck by Batross, and which keeps her company at her inn.
