Lucertola

Lucertola is an island in the Golden Ocean, the southernmost of the Medici Islands. Although it is the third-largest island in the chain, it is mostly uninhabited, consisting of dense forests surrounding a dormant volcano. The forests are known to house a number of dangerous creatures, and legend has it that somewhere deep within lies the lair of the tarrasque.

The northern strip of the island is inhabited and controlled by House Giacomo, one of the seven Halfling Great Houses. The town of Belletta serves as the island's capital and trade center, being the only usable deep-water harbor on the island.
