Mamluk

Mamluks are undead servants of the wizard Mozenrath, who seems to be the only person who knows how they are created. Sometimes called "the shambling mamluks}, they are humanoid in appearance, with bluish-grey skin and mouths that are sealed shut. They retain some knowledge of their previous existence, and some of the intelligence they possessed in real life, but they are totally under Mozenrath's control.

Mamluks are extraordinarily difficult to kill, as they can only be slain if their entire body is destroyed. Severed body parts will continue to attempt to attack their foes. Fortunately, they are generally found only in the Land of the Black Sand, although they will go wherever their master commands.
