Mozenrath

Mozenrath is a powerful wizard, and the current ruler of the Land of the Black Sand. He gained control of that region by overthrowing the former ruler, Destain, with the help of a magical gauntlet that apparently has deleterious effects on him. After overthrowing him, Mozenrath turned Destain into a mamluk under his command.

Not satisfied with his conquest, Mozenrath continues to seek out magical devices that will increase his power so that he might rule the Seven Deserts, and eventually all of Ardrana, if not the multiverse. In one such event, he may have stolen a life-sustaining medallion from Terylla, an elderly merchant from Nazivonema.
