Royal was a human bard from Semmarch who accompanied Tobias Proudfoot on some of his missions. He was openly homosexual, and often flirted with other men in the party, especially Thorin. He was killed in a ceiling collapse while investigating a pyramid discovered while his party was guarding a caravan.
