Shady Retreat Inn

The Shady Retreat Inn is an establishment in the city of Cardimer. It is located a few blocks away from the corral and stables area for trading caravans on the south side of the city. The inn is managed by a half-Desert Elf priestess of Dallongher named Z'Quilla.

The common room is very plain, with tables neatly arranged in rows and a bar along the back wall which is tended by Sheynt, a gruff fellow much unlike Z'Quilla. In contrast, a well-appointed and comfortable sitting room, where guests can spend time enriching their minds reading the ample selection of books therein, is located through a doorway to the left of the common room.

The Shady Retreat is the only establishment of its type bearing the official seal of approval of the city, evidenced by the many signed permits posted by the front door. However, the inn has gotten something of a poor reputation among travelers due to its high prices and regulated, barely-tolerable food.
