Vamnik was an Orcish commander in the armies of the Onyx Empire. He established a stronghold in what is now Vamnik Outpost during the waning days of the war. Gikh Fokh's southern border was rapidly being eroded thanks to dwarven forces from the Thair Mountains and Vamnik wanted to keep a strong presence in the region, thus the vast majority of the orcish population therein moved westward to establish Blukh Ukh. Vamnik's forces waylaid the White Alliance's resistance long enough to allow the orcs to set up a new stronghold and make a firm stand, but Vamnik himself was killed as he was one of the last orcs to leave their former home.
