Alton Coboral is a Dark Elven fighter who led a small band of adventurers out of Hanmer to rid a farming village of a kobold infestation. He soon found himself in Nazivonema, where he took on a mission to destroy a temple of Kuraliskar in the Ruisti Forest. The party discovered a passage beneath the temple that appeared to lead into the UnderWorld. There, they found a lair of drow, and Alton challenged one of the guards and was killed.

After he was raised, Alton and some of his companions were placed under a geas to destroy yet another such temple in the Cardillic Desert. Following that mission, he took a leave from active adventuring to remain in Agropthos, there to train to become a garath dedicated to Laurent -- a path he chose following the example of Lehandro, who had accompanied him during his adventures in the Seven Deserts.
