The Imorian Commerce Center is the hub of all commercial activity in Imor. Founded by the Ellison Family, one of the noble families of Eksaer from before the Great Magic War, this building stands as the ultimate tribute to Hermes, God of Commerce.

Located at the center of Imor’s marketplace, it has become somewhat of a tourist destination. This perception is further strengthened by the addition of Hermes Fountain on the south side of the building. There is a picnic area and playground for children on the west side of the building.

The entrances to the I.C.C. are a work of art in themselves. The doors are made of light-colored wood and each set of double-doors has brass handles. Carved into each door's upper third is a pyramid of circles meant to represent the four standard currency coins - 1 cp, 2 sp, 3 gp, and 4 pp. A white plaque with blue lettering is positioned to the left of the doors that lists the occupants of the building.

Upon entering the southern entrance of the I.C.C., you find yourself standing inside the building’s centerpiece, the Rotunda. To either side of this area is a wing containing commerce-related institutions such as the Imorian Bureau of Attunement and the Tourism and Information Center in the right wing and the Bank of Imor and the Imorian Business Center in the left.

The building itself can be seen from anywhere within the marketplace as it is a deep blue in hue with a silvery dome on top that attracts the sun’s rays. The interior is more subdued in color with grey stone flooring and off-white walls. The signage above the two wings shares the same blue and off-white color combination as the building’s exterior and interior decor. Light is never an issue as there are fixtures suspended from the ceilings throughout that emit light of an unknown origin and type.

Once your eyes adjust to the chenge in light, you become aware of that which is the rotunda. It has white marble walls which excentuate the sunlight streaming in from the dome above the obelisk structure at the center of the large area. Evenly spaced cases on the walls around the rotunda contain the family emblems of those who made a notable contribution to Imor's history. Below each is a plaque with the family's name and important dates of their contribution. Benches made of light-colored wood are placed between each of the cases for a short respite.

The obelisk in the middle of the rotunda is intricately carved with the family names and professions of each Imor citizen. Next to the obelisk is a pedestal with a clear globe on it containing the family crest of the current ruling family. Both are encompassed by a wooden fence that seems easy enough to step over, but a brightly-colored sign placed near the pedestal strongly discourages this practice.

A quick scan of the ceiling area above the obelisk reveals some sort of lighting which remains dark until the sun's rays pass out of the rotunda for the day or on cloudy days.
