Delgon

Delgon the bowman is a Dark Elven archer and military mastermind. Along with his cousin, Daelras, he joined the side of the Onyx Empire early on in the last of the Wars of Arin, and was instrumental in many of their victories in the SouthLands. Some say that his reassignment to the Empire's northern forces was a turning point in the south, as it was around that time that the White Alliance began to make headway against their enemy.

Unlike his cousin, Delgon was and is devoted to Morjec. The general has always been more attuned to the ways of Law, and while Keraptis united many different factions under his banner, Delgon never particularly cared for the wizard. Indeed, Delgon even developed something of a mutual respect with Thorin Archer, king of the Dwarves of the Thair Mountains, against whom he fought most of his battles during the war. The two of them have often been heard to speak highly of the other's skill, while personally detesting each other.

After the wars, Delgon's profile became much lower. It is believed that he still serves Morjec in his new role as the power behind the throne of Arin, but he has not been seen in years. Some speculate that Drow assassins may have finally caught up with him, as he is considered a traitor to their people, but most believe he has simply faded into the background, waiting for his chance to make his name known once more.
