Genie (djinni)

Genie is, as his name would imply, a genie -- more specifically, a djinni. He is the best friend and former servant of Aladdin, who freed him from his life of servitude not long ago. Together, they have saved the city of Agrabah on many occasions, and have traveled across the Seven Deserts and beyond. In fact, Genie has been around the world, and even to other worlds, and knows many of the greatest figures in history, but has chosen to remain in Agrabah with his friend Aladdin.

Since Genie has forsaken the kinship of geniekind, he has lost some measure of his powers, which he now defines as "semi-phenomenal, nearly-cosmic". He is, however, romantically involved with Eden, another djinni who currently serves a young girl named Dhandi.

Note: Genie originally appeared in the movie Aladdin, with additional information being drawn from The Return of Jafar and the Aladdin TV show. All references are meant only as context for the fictional gaming world of Ardrana. Note that in that world, the events in the movie Aladdin and the King of Thieves have not occurred.
