House Giacomo

House Giacomo is one of the seven Great Houses of the Medici Islands. Like all the Halfling Great Houses, it concentrates its power in one area: crafts. They are the masters of the craftsman's guilds of the Halfling people and their work can be seen on all of the Medici Islands.

Due in large part to the ample forest resources on their home island of Lucertola, they are most noted for wood crafts. Some say ships built by this family's shipwrights rival those of other seafaring cultures.

With the large amount of trees being used, the druidic community is keeping a close eye on the family and the island. In the past, there have been some tense negotiations to continue the removal of trees, but, to date, the balance has been maintained and the forested area remains verdent.
