Kazuo

Kazuo is a Human fighter/thief from Ikizu. He left his clan, the Water buffalo clan, to become a privateer, and after a short time he was recruited by Medina to join the crew of one of her small fleet of ships.

Kazuo was originally posted to the S.S. Intrepido under Captain Tashbar. He quickly rose through the ranks to become executive officer, having been recognized for his ability to ensure the efficiency and discipline of the crew. He was aboard the Intrepido when the ship was hijacked and grounded on Ondolor Island. His service in that incident earned him a promotion to first mate.

Recently, Medina's enterprise acquired a third ship, and Kazuo was offered its captaincy. He christened the ship the S.S. Futeki, and chose as his first mate Grover, who had been Medina's executive officer. The Futeki ferries passengers and cargo up and down the Hanaelon River between Hanmer and Morelenas.
