Water buffalo clan

The Water buffalo clan is one of the Thirteen Clans of Jiberia, controlling a chunk of land in the southwestern area of the peninsula. They are surrounded by the Dragon clan to the north and the Crane clan to the east, and many wonder how they have not yet been absorbed by the military machine of Lady Hitomi. Many say they have some sort of secret alliance, but others simply believe the area they control is of little strategic value, and Hitomi has simply had bigger fish to fry.

Indeed, the area controlled by the Water buffalo clan, while coastal, has no natural harbor. Their main industry is fishing, and many of the fishing villages pay tribute to Miya Noori, the clan's leader. Her capital is in the city of Ikizu, at the southwestern tip of the peninsula.
