Lloyd IX

King Lloyd IX is a Human nobleman, the current ruler of Arin. He is directly descended from Floyd I, the first ruler of the kingdom after its founding in 271 LC, and thus the current head of the House of Floyd. He has ruled for nearly thirty years, spending most of it overseeing the rebuilding of the kingdom.

Like his immediate predecessor, it is fairly widely known that King Lloyd is little more than the puppet of Morjec. Since the early days of the Wars of Arin, when the land sat at the heart of the mighty Onyx Empire, Morjec, and before him his teacher and mentor Keraptis, have kept a tight grip on the reins of power in the central Lanad. Still, Lloyd tries to make things as good for his people as possible, and cares little about Morjec's designs on world domination one way or the other.
