Mt. Whisperwind

Mount Whisperwind is a dormant volcano which is located in the center of the island of Transha. It is named for its discoverer, Karlspeth Whisperwind, who was one of the island's first settlers and the founder of The Whisperwind, one of Transha's Nine Families.
Mount Whisperwind is not connected to any known mountain chain, and seems indeed to be a solitary peak. It has not erupted in at least the past few hundred years, and there are a number of villages around its base.
