Quirkistan

Quirkistan is a city in the eastern part of the Cardillic Desert which also lends its name to the surrounding region. The region borders Agrabah on the north, though the inhabited areas are several hundred miles apart and separated by the Vykhar Mountains. Quirkistan is ruled by the boy king Mahmoud Zashiftin, advised by his wazir, Khalam.

At some point in the distant past, the rulers of Quirkistan were imbued with the magical power to affect the land itself. The ruler's mood would dictate whether the land was pleasant, or was racked by storms. Obviously, with a child on the throne, this has recently become problematic. Princess Jasmine of Agrabah has established diplomatic relations with the young king, and has attempted to temper his negative outbursts in an attempt to keep the land peaceful and prevent any effect on her country's northern borders.
