Sargon

Sargon, also known as The Black Knight -- a term he considers cliché, which suits his purposes -- is a high-ranking servant of Morjec, the power behind the throne of Arin. He is often Morjec's chosen representative at negotiations due to his ruthlessness. Sargon is an arrikhan nominally dedicated to Zakhirin, but in truth is dedicated to advancing his own ends, making him a perfect servant of that deity.

Years ago, Sargon had established an underground stronghold near the drow city of Zarach-Oras, which they considered an act of disrespect. They attempted many times to breach it without success, but eventually they were able to infiltrate it. Sargon swore revenge on them, and in that he found a kindred spirit in Delgon, Morjec's drow general, who had been cast out for his embrace of Law. In return for Sargon's service, Morjec has promised to turn his army against the drow when it has defeated the White Alliance.

Sargon was originally a PC played by Paul Kimball, and is now an NPC.
