Shoto

Shoto is a legendary figure from Ardrana's ancient history. He was the leader of a band of adventurers known as The Outlanders who, legends tell, lived in the days before the fall of Pretic. He was a warrior who had an acute sixth sense when danger approached, and was in love with Palya, another member of the group.

Demigod attributes

He disappeared along with the rest of The Outlanders during their final battle against Rinjok, servant of Thalos the Black of Errl. It is said that the gods decided that Shoto and his band should continue to wander for all time, across the heavens, always finding new challenges. Thus, they became the planets, and are worshipped as demigods, the patrons of adventurers.

Shoto is tied most closely to Morelen, and is sometimes identified as his chief advisor. His holy symbol, as well as those of the other Outlanders, is six small circles arranged in a larger circle. In Shotos's, the topmost circle is filled in with a clear or white stone, often quartz but sometimes chalcedony.
