Speedwell

Speedwell is a retired Human fighter originally from the town of Hazerren. Standing just 5'6" and weighing no more than 150 pounds, the sandy-haired Speedwell was once the very definition of "unlikely hero", but hero he has been nonetheless.

In his youth, he was a friend of Siobhan, who wanted nothing more than to be an adventurer, and he reluctantly joined her on a quest into the UnderWorld, where they sought to discover the location of the city of Zarach-Oras. While there, the group rescued an Elven mage named Tinaelin, but Siobhan was killed, leaving Speedwell to lead the remaining party members back to the surface.

Shortly thereafter, Speedwell met up with another adventuring party, this one led by a pair of barbarian brothers named Tyr and Ogre. Although he clashed with Qualey, one of the other party members, he stayed with the group for several adventures before they went their separate ways.

After returning to his home, he found himself thinking often of Tinaelin. He journeyed to her home of Shaiyo, and they were soon married. The couple now have three children.

Speedwell was a PC played by John Proulx, later an NPC.
