Rutherford

Rutherford is an alchemist, originally from the town of Ellimer. For the past twenty years, he has been employed by the mayors of the city of Rabk -- first Mellon and now his son Rockefeller -- as a magical consultant. When Rockefeller was an adventurer, Rutherford worked in an office in his specialized bag of holding, but he now has his own laboratory in the basement of Rabk administrative offices.

Rutherford is a cousin of the Hanaestor family, the son of Eisten Ellistor, who was himself the nephew of Patassa Hanaestor (nee Ellistor), the wife of Meldryck Hanaestor and mother of Lawrence Hanaestor.
