Mellon

Mellon was a Human merchant and financier from the town of Rabk. Toward the end of the Wars of Arin, a large deposit of adamantine was discovered on the land he owned. He quickly became highly influential in the area, especially among the other nobles of Kellan, thanks to allowing the White Alliance access to the mine to produce materials for the military.

After the war, Mellon commissioned a road linking Rabk to the King's Road and Gascar, a road that is known as Mellon's Road. In honor of his service, Rabk was made the seat of one of the Alliance's ten duchies, although Mellon himself declined the title of Duke. Instead, he set himself up as the fast-growing city's mayor and building a large estate, both of which passed to his eldest son Rockefeller upon his death a few years ago.
