Calestra os'Sarani

Calestra os'Sarani was a Lastini noblewoman. She was the only daughter of Queen Caldrana, the first Lastini ruler of Mentoncha, and her successor to the throne and leadership of House os'Sarani. She was succeeded by her own daughter, Kintana

Calestra is credited with making the first successful connection with the world outside of the Lastini's new lands in Lanad i'Sarois, journeying by ship to Rogariel. She was so moved by the outpouring of aid by the people of Rogariel that her perspective of self-sufficience for her people dramatically shifted to that of cooperation with other peoples. The experience proved quite insightful for the princess, hence the tradition of the Journey of Enlightenment was born.
