Lastini

The Lastini are considered by some to be a subrace of Humans, although scholars count them as one of the eight Races of Antiquity. They are characterized mostly by their minor telepathic abilities. They are somewhat smaller in stature than Humans, and on average live about 120-150 years.

The majority of the population of Lastini on Ardrana is on the Ardann, mainly in the region of Matria. However, about 150 years ago, a group that was no longer happy with the society there set out across the Golden Ocean and established the country of Mentoncha on the Lanad.

Historically, the Lastini have been a matriarchal race, although exceptions may exist. This is likely because Lastini women tend to be able to communicate with each other via telepathy, while the males can only receive thoughts, not send them.
