Bacsik

Bacsik was a priest of Poseidon, originally from Athens. A great traveler, he eventually came to Hanmer, where he became an adventurer. He eventually joined a band led by Zorg, bound to recover several artifacts stolen by the wizard Keraptis. One of the artifacts, which were purportedly from the collection of a noble named Sunder, was Wave, a mighty magical trident that was consecrated to Poseidon, and after its recovery he refused to return it, causing great ire. It turned out that he was right, as the other items that were returned to Sunder ended up in evil hands.

Bacsik lived just a short time longer, as he was lost at sea in a shipwreck just a few years later. He took the magical trident into the sea with him, returning it to Poseidon. He is said to have an honored place as Poseidon's proxy for his service.
